BPT Oregon Semaphore Grass Planting with Portland Audubon

October 17 - October 19

Work with the Burns Paiute Tribe’s Natural Resources Department to plant Oregon’s rarest grass, and one of the rarest grasses in the U.S at the Tribe’s Logan Valley property. This project requires walking through meadows on uneven surfaces. Occasionally volunteers may need to cross small creek channels, frequently by stepping across. Camping will be provided. Camping gear will be available for volunteer use. Showers and flushing toilets will be accessible.  For more information, see here: https://audubonportland.org/events/.
