Location
Between highway 101 and the southern end of Devil’s Lake. From highway 101 go east on 14th street, then left on Port Ave. There’s a small parking area on the right.

Go to the Oregon Birding Trail Website. Choose the Oregon Coast Birding Trail. Click on the Central Coast tab and go to section 46.

A 2.5 mile trail takes you through a young forest to a small lake. Expect to find typical forest birds such as Northern Flicker, Chestnut-backed Chickadee, Pacific Wren, Robin, Stellar’s Jay, and Wilson Warbler.
