Come celebrate Malheur with a week-long series of programs and events. We’ll wrap up the celebration with a work party to remove downed fencing materials from Malheur NWR and then spend the day doing some birding and art for the October Big Day (October 12th). Come plant sagebrush, native grasses, etc. at the Burns Paiute Tribe’s Jonesborough Property along the John Day River. Work with the Burns Paiute Tribe’s Natural Resources Department to plant Oregon’s rarest grass, and one of the rarest grasses in the U.S at the Tribe’s Logan Valley property.
