Open water on the small ponds attracts a wide variety of waterfowl, and the brushy and wooded areas around the ponds support raptors and passerines. Over 100 species have been reported from the park.
Open water with forested edges. Common Goldeneye, Bufflehead, Common Merganser and Lesser Scaup are common, and Barrow’s Goldeneye, Long-tailed Duck, scoters and loons can sometimes be found.
